How to use understand the 2 tags Impossible - ımkansız and No Translation - Çeviri Yok

"Impossible" (İmkansız) & "No Translation" (Çeviri Yok)

If translatıon is impossıble

Bu etiketler sistemin "Kırmızı Işığıdır." Bu etiketleri gördüğünüzde veya atadığınızda:

Neden? / Why?

Impossible (İmkansız): Bu girişler genellikle fonksiyonel araçlardır. Örneğin bir Pangram ("The quick brown fox...") Türkçeye çevrildiğinde tüm teknik amacını yitirir.

Çeviri Yok: Bazı deyimler veya kavramlar kültürel olarak eşsizdir. Zorlama bir çeviri yapmak, veritabanına sahte veya hatalı bilgi girmek demektir. No Translatıon

Admin Notu: Bu maddeler olduğu gibi bırakılmalı ve teknik bütünlüğün korunması için kilitlenmelidir.

Resmi Hitap (Formal Address): Use for polite, structured greetings, welcomes, or announcements directed at an audience or group (e.g., herkes, herkese, değerli konuklar). Distinct from general Resmi, which covers broad formal tone without an explicit public address context.

The English-Turkish tagging system explained in full

Read and understand how to use and search the database
A: English Tags do not always have a direct equivalent tag in Turkish.
B: Turkish tags very often in fact almost entirely require a specific verb or set structure to express one English idea.
Or Where English uses one word for many different situations and contexts. Turkish will require one precise word phrase or a specific verb, for each English situation, covered by one English word.
C: For example to hire or rent in English covers every situation. In normal daily English use, the sentence spoken or written will tell which situation is being spoken about.
D: To distingush between hiring or renting a car over hiring or renting a machine in Turkish. Requires a very specific verb or word specific to the situation. To hire a machine in Turkish you have to specificially use the correct structure.
E: All of this is explained in detail below.

The particular problems this causes native English speakers learning Turkish

Example (Örnek) (kar) means black or snow, but if combined with the word (yol) means road way it becomes A main road highway. like like "Karayol" this is another word different to (ana yol) (ana - main) (yol - road)
For this reason there is not the same number of tags in the English lists as there are in The Turish Tag lists

Help in English is a word a noun

In English it appears only in the usage tag list.
But for Turkish help (Yardim) or "To help" (Yardım Etmek) can be a noun or a verb also it can have suffixes added to change the meaning. For this reason (Yardım) "help" appears in the Turkish "usage list" and both (yardım) "help" and (Yardım Etmek) "to help" appears in both of the Turkish usage and Turkish Grammar tag lists

How are the tags organised

Currently they are simply presented to you the user and site visitors as alphabetical lists: Therefore the Turkish and English list orders will never align. Not only because of the two different alphabets: But also because of the two totally different languages logic .

What is in the tagging list options

The tag list will show Language Usage and Grammar tags.

Incidentally the misspelling of "Grammer" instaed of "Grammar" by Turkish Speakers is very common
4: Possibly beacause of how it is actually spoken pronounced in Turkish versus English.
Turkish 'e' is pronounced similar to an English 'a'
